The sequel to ‘Eradane Madhuve’ (now made in Telugu starring Rajendra Prasad and Suhasini by director Dinesh Baboo in 15 days) ‘Mathondu Madhuvena’ was flagged off by Congress I politician Veeranna Mathikatti with other political leaders on Monday night at Atria Hotel in Bangalore.

The function was a mixture of political and film for the start of Umesh Banakar and Anil Menasinakai’s joint venture ‘Mathondu Madhuvena’.

Director Dinesh Baboo who lived perfect to the title ‘Eradane Madhuve’ by marrying Chetana in his second marriage (read Eradane Madhuve) arrived late with his wife to the start of his own film. It is the first time after their wedding Dinesh Baboo and Chetana arrived in a film function.

‘Mathondu Madhuvena’ starring Ananthnag and Suhasini in lead with Naveen Krishna, Jennifer Kotwal, Thara, Raju Thalikote, Sharan and others will be shot in Mysore in 25 days. Two houses, a resort and hospital seem to be Dinesh Baboo’s requirement for this film. This time Dinesh Baboo is not handling the cinematography but Suresh Byrasandra is the man behind the camera.

The story of ‘Mathondu Madhuvena’ has only one marriage in the beginning. The parental care for the married couple in the house with a daughter and son in law and how it turns out be a trouble shooter, is explained by Dinesh Baboo. Independence should be given to the newly wed couple, instead of the elders poking their nose says Baboo in this hilarious comedy film.

”So far I have completed 30 plus marriages on silver screen”, said versatile actor Ananthnag. In his 14th film with director Dinesh Baboo, the much sought after actor of Kannada cinema Ananthnag lauded the quick projects of the director without missing the style and substance.

Congress I Politician Veeranna Mathikatti, Sharanna Kotige, M Rudresh plus film personalities Ananthnag, Basanthkumar Patil, Ganesh, BN Gangadhar, Munirathna, Srinagara Kitty were on the dais for the lighting of the lamp.
